If you can recommend some useful notes regarding it, that will be great! Thanks, Mimi'. Hi, One place to look for this information is: You will see all the Operating Systems approved for the SAPGUI 7.10. There is no restriction as per patch level. You can obtain more information from SAP note 147519. The description on rolling out the GUI is in the Documentation and you can install the latest patches on the installation server. SAP does not have a schedule for GUI Patch releases, they release a patch when they have resolved issues. It is recommended to install the latest GUI patch (11) then install the Latest BI Patch (800) Regards From: Mimi via sap-basis [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 14 January 2009 01:24 To: D. Note 1053737 - Expected release dates for SAP GUI for Windows & ITS Patches describes patch history and a short forward plan for Patch 12 (week 9 2009). There is also a discussion on their patch release strategy. Good Day Mimi 1 - someone else provided the Note 2 - MS installer 3.1;.Net framework 1.1 & 2.0 - BEX may require MS Visual J# 1.1 and 2.0 also (we have had to install these 2, as advised by SAP Support when BEX was having some problem or other). Always read the install guide (even if you read the guide for the prior version), it will provide these details. 3 - install core patches first, then add-ons 4 - yes you can. Run nwsapsetupadmin.exe - Select (click) the package (on the package tab) and choose (from the top menu) 'packages', 'compress to single file installer'. I've never used this option.
